Spring Break is around the corner and when I say around the corner I mean right around the corner…like today when all my classes are done. This will be the last of my semi-winter inspired post for this year. I’m swapping out my winter blues for bright and pastel hues. Speaking of pastel let’s talk about this turquoise coat. I actually got it to take with me on spring break 2 years ago, how ironic. I love the fact that it is collarless and doesn’t have any buttons, just a hidden zipper which gives it a streamline and sophisticated  look. It juxtaposes well with the light pastel colors, a combination of hard and soft.

Aside from the turquoise I have a lot of blush tones going on, from the earrings to the shirt to the shoes. The top is from H&M. It’s super long in the front and back, almost to my knees, so I tucked it in. The wedge espadrilles are also from H&M, they are in a faux suede material. I’m not a big heel wearer so wedges are perfect because they give me extra height without compromising on comfort or style.

It’s no secret that tassels are a huge trend at the moment. I found this pair at T.J. Maxx. The top part has an iridescent stone that picks up both the turquoise and blush in my outfit. I couldn’t dream of a more perfect fit. Well, that it’s from me today. To everyone already on Spring Break, I hope it is going swell and to those starting this week relax and have tons of fun!
