Favorite Quilted Jackets

For many years the J. Crew quilted excursion vest have been a crowd favorite. It’s a design that has been reproduced by many other brands. Recently I’ve seen the quilted design expanded to jacket and coats. I was reading Gal Meets Glam’s post 10 Must-Haves for Fall and she had on this beautiful burgundy/wine Burberry quilted jacket (currently dropped from $695 to $495 on the Burberry website). Definitely one to put on your wishlist. However, not everyone has Burberry money, but I have the perfect alternative. One day I was walking through Target shopping with mom, buying groceries. We just so happened to walk through the clothing section and no lie, I stopped dead in my tracks. Right in front of me was a mannequin wearing a burgundy quilted jacket…with gold snaps! I immediately ran over to go try it on. There was no way I could leave without it. As someone that is constantly on the target website I can’t believe this one slipped through the cracks. In store I wasn’t paying attention to what other colors they had to offer but I did check the website. It comes in six colors. I’m also in love with the forest green color but it’s no longer available. Fingers crossed it comes back in stock! Sidenote: the photo online does not do it justice. It looks more red than it actually is.
