’70s Flare

Ever since the reinsertion of skinny jeans back into popular fashion when I was in middle school, I haven’t looked back. Before then I remember being very experimental with the style of my jeans, from gauchos to capris to boot cut and of course flares. I’m going back to my roots in today’s post. I love the leg-lengthening quality flares provide. My next mission is to find a dark wash pair for the fall to wear with booties and wedges. However, that’s the extent of my fall wardrobe for now. It is still way too hot to wear coats or even a sweater. I’ll have to stick to tanks like this one from Lilly Pulitzer. I can truly say it’s one of the most unique tanks I have. I love the square neckline and flowy handkerchief hem. It creates movement at every turn making it incredibly fun to wear.

For a touch of glamour, I added a pair of gold dangle earrings that I’ve worn to death this summer, my go-to gold wedges, and a turquoise cuff to pull it all together.
