If you were wondering, this is not a strategically planned outfit to celebrate a national holiday. Today I decided to have a little fun with this striped number with lace-up detailing. I’m in love with the contrasting red and blue stripes which kinda remind me of a baseball tee and don’t even get me started on the gold eyelet detail, GORG! I know some people would be comfortable not wearing anything underneath but I decided to wear a black bandeau. On the inside of the slits there is a light blue vertical stripe that peeks through on either side and matches perfectly with my heels. For some extra pizazz I’ve added these red tassel earrings that I first saw on one of Kate’s (from Lonestar Southern) Latest and Greatest post. Tassel earrings have been such a big trend this year and come in a variety of price ranges. At less than $10 I just couldn’t pass them up. They also come in almost every color imaginable. The only drawback is how long they take to ship, so if you need them right away for an event or specific outfit, these wouldn’t be the ones for you.
