Velvet and bows. Two classics that will forever be in-style. Recently there’s been a resurgence of these little beauties for the holidays and I thought I would share with you some of my favorites. J. crew released  their velvet hair ties, which quickly sold out. The emotional despair I felt from not snagging these beauties quick enough would have soon diminished, if it weren’t for the endless images on my Instagram feed  of people rocking their new bows. At this point I became a little obsessive and even created a whole Pinterest board dedicated to hair bows. I was on a mission to find the perfect velvet bow. I came across these Jennifer Behr ones but at $128 it’s just not worth it. Next, I decided to turn my search to Etsy, filled with small business owners and a unique array of products.  I simply typed in velvet bows and out the hundreds of pages and thousands of bows, one brand stuck out to me the most. Lovely In Line  (Lovely In Line Etsy Shop). Their bows check all the boxes for me. I love how structured they are , the fact that they’re double-sided velvet (rare find), and they don’t break the bank. I’ve already picked up the hunter green and rosy mauve.  I’ll be sure to show you how I style them soon!
