Happy Monday everyone! Just thought I’d check in to share this darling little dress from The Gal Meets Glam Collection. If you haven’t heard about it by now I give you permission to leave this post mid-sentence to take a look (here or here). This particular style is called Evelyn. It’s a thick jacquard fabric in a subtle floral print and features a feminine halter neckline with unique bow detailing. The bodice tapers in at the waist and comes away from the body with seamlessly placed pleats and pockets. Most of the dresses in the collection have pockets which is a huge plus. I recently wore this dress to my bi-annual family reunion banquet and was able to go clutch-free. Everything I needed fit in the substantial room my pockets provided.

In the past I’ve looked to Lilly Pulitzer for any special occasion dresses and don’t get me wrong they will by no means be taken out of rotation however, Gal Meets Glam has now become my favorite. The styles can go from day to night and they are reasonably priced. This particular style is currently 40% on the Gal Meets Glam website. I purchased mine from Nordstrom.com in a size 8, but ended up returning it for the 6.

When it comes to accessorizing these dresses they do not need much help; they speak for themselves. That is why I’ve gone for a simple pair of nude heeled sandals and pearl earrings. I look forward to purchasing more from the Gal Meets Glam Collection in the future and wearing this dress for years to come.
