Although it is way too hot down here to even start thinking about fall, I figured I would share with you some of my favorite fall picks secretly wishing I could enjoy the cooler weather. Honestly we might not dip down pass the 90 degree mark until January. I might melt by then, but I digress. This is one installment of a series of posts dedicated to the Fall/Winter season. I hope these posts can serve as a source of inspiration during the upcoming months.
This first piece is from BaubleBar. It’s a simple gold cuff with crystals that can be paired with almost any outfit. It is also adjustable which is great because I often have issues with bracelets falling off. It’s the perfect arm candy to go with this simple J. Crew Tippi Sweater. I love these sweaters because they fit nicely. Tucked in it drapes over without looking messy and left out it doesn’t look baggy. Also the material is soft and lightweight perfect for transitioning from summer to fall. To add a little edge to your outfit, slip on a pair of faux leather leggings. This pair from Zara are really cool. The seams in the center of the legs make them look rock and roll as well as the cropped leg with splits on the side. You could easily carry on the edgy look by adding some leather booties and a leather jacket. However, if you’d like to take the softer approach my fourth item is perfect for you. These fuzzy Zara Sandals have the colors of a fall sandal and are also a good transition piece. I’ve been obsessing over them ever since they came out along with this matching backpack. The gold accents tie in perfectly with the jewelry, like my next piece. These BaubleBar Ear Jackets dress up your ears without overdoing it.
If it gets a little cooler, maybe at night, you can throw on this furry Zara Beanie. The pom pom on the top is a nice touch. The last jewelry piece I will be mentioning is this dainty gold ring which carries on the motif of crystals. To top it off throw on this camel Long Waistcoat from Zara which picks up the tones in the shoes, backpack, and hat.
