Merry Christmas!  This has to be one of my favorite post of the year. I get to go completely overboard mixing tartans and plaids, velvet and metallics, sparkle and shine! The best part is…no one is going to tell me to do otherwise because that’s just par for the course in December. I was a little iffy at first about this emerald green velvet off the shoulder top that my mom found, but once I got my Lovely In Line bow (my favorite) I knew it would be the perfect match. Also, it’s from Marshall’s which means it was super inexpensive. If I only wear it once or once a year, it’s money well spent. My jewelry is from Swarovski also in an emerald green. I know, I know my socks are over my jeans, but hey what can I say, at least I’m comfortable.  They’re an old knee-high pair from Abercrombie, adding an extra layer of coziness to my J.Crew moccasins I got around this time last year. I’m most excited about the props in this post. As soon as I saw this mug on the Pottery Barn website I knew I had to have it. I thought it would be a nice addition to my gold monogrammed Anthropologie mug. The next day I went in store and picked one up for my mom and I. Last but definitely not least, are these fairy lights! Instagram and Pinterest have been my source of inspiration for fairy light photos, but I put my own little spin on it. Surprisingly, I still use them in my dorm room. For some reason they help me relax and fall asleep faster at night. Well, I won’t keep you any longer have a  Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year!
