I was inspired to create this post because of Louise Roe’s blog post on the Best Winter Shearling Jackets. In addition to the one she was wearing several other options were listed and I stumbled upon this one from J.O.A. It’s in a beautiful olive suede trimmed in chocolate brown leather and faux shearling. Guaranteed to keep you warm as we dive deeper into the winter months. It reminds me a little bit of an updated aviation style jacket; all you need is an aviator hat and goggles. Definitely one of my favorite jackets this season.

Underneath the jacket I paired this simple black open-shoulder top from H&M with an understated turtleneck. To tie the two together I found these tortoise shell round sunglasses with silver mirrored lenses. On the bottom are a pair of distressed jeans. I love the distressing at the ankle; it’s something I haven’t seen before. That being said, I wanted to make sure to pick a bootie that would allow that beautiful detail not be hidden. Last but not least, a couple of accessories. I really like the black (watch & bracelet) because it adds an edge to the outfit instead of your regular shiny metals.
