Can you believe that we’re almost through the first month of the year? I’m already in the second semester of my junior year and I would really really appreciate it if things could just…slow down a bit. That’s why I’m always happy when I get the chance to go home and spend some time in my little slice of paradise. I can’t believe I waited until I left to explore this wonderful place. Shame on me. I’m very much in a spring/summer state of mind as you can see from this fun ruffle one-shoulder top. If it’s off the shoulder or has ruffles, I’m immediately drawn to it. This top is no exception. Sidenote: I also bought the same top for my mom but she won’t wear it! She missed an opportunity to take some great mother-daughter photos. Her loss. I’ll get her to do it one of these days.

Getting back on track, I decided to keep my jewelry extremely simple, wearing only these dangle earrings. I just love the geometric nature and the fact they almost touch my shoulders. Throw on a pair of white jeans, these comfy Target heels and voila, you’ve got yourself and outfit.
